Explore Engaging Electives
At Cesar Chavez Middle School, students take six classes each day: English, Math, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, and one elective.
Our diverse elective offerings give students the opportunity to explore their interests, discover new passions, and build skills that prepare them for high school, college, and future careers. From AVID, Band, and Art to Esports, Spanish, and Introduction to Film, students enjoy hands-on learning experiences that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and leadership.
Students can also explore STEM-focused Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses, featuring activity-, project-, and problem-based learning. These innovative classes include Design & Modeling, Robotics, Environmental Science, and more, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in the ever-evolving world of technology and problem-solving.
