Attendance Matters at Cesar Chavez Middle School
Being on time and present every day helps you succeed — and keeps you eligible for fun school events!
Be On Time:

Class starts at 8:25 AM sharp!

Gates open at 7:45 AM – arrive early to get to class and settle in.

You must be in your seat before the second bell rings or you’ll be marked tardy.
Special Schedule:

Wednesdays are early dismissal days – school ends at 12:43 PM.
Important Reminders About Absences:

You are only allowed 3 unexcused absences per school year.

If you’re absent, please email medical documentation when possible.

Be sure to contact your teacher and complete any missed assignments to stay on track.
