Lynwood Unified Students Honored for Overcoming Adversity to Achieve Success

In the face of numerous challenges, 16 Lynwood Unified students have excelled in their academic and personal journeys, earning recognition from educators across the District for their growth and leadership.

During its annual celebration on May 29, the Lynwood Association of School Administrators (LASA) recognized K-12 students with the Every Student Succeeding Award for overcoming obstacles and winning the hearts of the educators who empowered them to achieve their goals.

The honorees – who have shown improvement in grades, behavior and more – were awarded a scholarship and certificate for their success and their remarkable leadership, exemplary behavior and overcoming obstacles along the way. Congratulations to the following students:
