Unlock Your Child’s Brilliance: Enrollment Now Open for TK-12 at Lynwood Unified

Lynwood Unified School District is thrilled to announce that enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is now open! Starting Tuesday, January 21, families interested in joining the District, including those new to the community, are invited to secure spots for students in all grades, including Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten.

By joining Lynwood Unified, families become part of a community celebrated for its exceptional educators and steadfast commitment to student success from early education through high school.

Beginning January 28 and continuing through February, Lynwood elementary schools will host 26 informational sessions across 12 sites to assist families with the TK/Kinder enrollment process. These sessions, led by District educators and staff, will also highlight the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program offered at Mark Twain and Will Rogers elementary schools, which fosters bilingual and bi-literate learning.

To enroll in TK, children must be 4 years old on or by September 1, 2025. For Kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or by September 1, 2025. Enrollment information is on the TK/K webpage

From the first day of TK to high school graduation, Lynwood Unified offers a strong foundation built on academic rigor and safe, welcoming learning environments. Students can access award-winning arts and athletic programs, extracurricular activities, cultural programs and support services to help them develop in and out of the classroom. The District also offers numerous hands-on career technical education pathways – from biomedical sciences and computer science to culinary arts and dance – ensuring students are well-prepared for high-demand careers and higher education.
